Okay, I suppose I can wrap my head round why Spelljammer and Darkish Solar had such small gross sales: although I suppose they’re superior, they do not match the usual Darkish Ages/Center Ages European fantasy trope, so possibly informal gamers weren’t so taken with them again within the day. Wonderful. However dude, Ravenloft??? Actually?? The most effective settings for probably the greatest journey modules ever revealed, but its gross sales are half these of Dragonlance?
I am considering there should be a variable or two that I am overlooking right here…
EDIT: Okay, here is one variable I ignored: time. Gross sales of all settings appear to have tanked within the mid or late 80s and into the 90s, so a few of these could be simply victims of a down market.
